Adhesives Potters Industries supplies a line of tightly sized solid glass spheres for use in adhesives as a bond line spacer. The spheres, which have a soda-lime (A) composition and a density of 2.5g/cc., are certified to Hughes standard specifications. In general, 90% of the product fits within the gradation specified. With a crush strength of 30,000 psi, Potters glass spheres are incompressible. They are added in small amounts to adhesives and resins to define the bond line thickness. Application: Spacer Beads |
